Whoops! I meant that to be the lower pick. Good catch. Same trade but the Avs own pick in for Ottawa’s (so 16th overall instead of 4th)

Even so, I don't think Toronto would want to take on Johnson's contract. That definitely doesn't help their cap

That’s why the players going back to Colorado were chosen specifically to help address Toronto’s needs AND save them cap space (they net $3.06 mil in cap savings to be exact).
