Don't see the sens doing that. The big drop in quality player available at 77th compared to 32nd is not worth moving up just four spots.

In most drafts there usually are a few reaches happening. So I could see a guy like Newhook still being available at 15. Sens would likely jump on the occasion to get a top end talent if possible. They've done reaches before, see the 12th OA + 3rd rd pick for the 11OA a few years back.

I made the trade based on a recent comparable which saw 18 + 79 go for 22 + 36. If anything, as the picks are all higher, Ottawa may even include a 6-7th rd pick extra.

Where the sens prospect pool is at this point, moving up, even if a guy like Newhook is available, it still makes more sense to pick up say a Suzuki at 19 + a Lassi Thompson at 32.
