carolina needs a bit of grit after losing ferland and could find that in hornqvist, who can also score goals

oilers would lose rnh but get back another good center in bjugstad. a REALLY needed winger that can play with mcdavid (as he already played quite a bit with crosby) because of his really underrated shot and puck possession abilities. a good goaltending prospect that could become the starter really soon (oilers have awful situation in net).

also just get rid of johnson.

nyquist will help middle six with scoring and add speed. there could be other wingers that we could sign for the same price more or less (zuccarello, dzingle, simmonds...) but he is probably the best fit.

hags is a decent signing, that would likely accept the terms of the contract cuz he loved it in pitt and would help us in the pk and brings lots of speed

cully doesnt need to play too much as 4c cuz we would still have blueger but he can help in the locker room and still perform when needed.
