Perlini is a former high first rounder 17 goals two yrs ago 14 last year why would he sign for less then Kampf ?? Why would DZINGEL OR ANY 0THER 27 YRS old ufa sign a one year deal ?? Kampf does not have the hands to play top six , i like him as a 4th line center . Murphy and SIKURA are being given away for nothing ? Sikura alone gets you a forth or a third . Wait for the trade deadline and you can get at least a second maybe even a late first for Murphy why dump them for nothing and have 14 mil in unused cap space your reasoning does not make sense .

Murphy is more or less a cap dump. Kurashev is our best forward prospect, may as well give him a shot and likely send him back to Rockford.

This is a make or break year for STANBO he will not take chances by trying to fill in d spots on the fly with patchwork players and reclamation players like KOKOEK , MANNING, DAVIDSON , etc etc etc , or for having to many untested and unproven rookies on the team at once . Show me even one roster lineup in the nhl that starts 2 , 20 year old and under rookie dmen and is a contender in fact try to find one in the last 20 years . The years that KEITH and SEABS were able to play and be effective playing 25 to 30 minutes a game and covering up for a lack of depth are over . GUS is a defensive liability so you are basically forcing Colliton to play JOKI and KHRYS more then most rookies should or your going to try and play MAATTA , SEABS AND KEITH 25 TO 30 minutes a game yet again .

Moving Murphy is a terrible idea. I'm all for moving Sikura, I think he's afraid to play with the puck and not what he was hyped up to be. I think Maatta and Murphy is going to be Colliton's shut down pairing. Will they be any good? Time will tell but I think that's why Stan made the move.

Because his zone defense is bad, his entry defense is bad. he's a dfd, i don't expect him to produce offensively, but he's lackluster on defense too. only reason he's rated by hawks fans is because he's a physical player, which isn't really saying much. lucic is a physical player, doesn't mean he's good by any means.
