Your probably right, I know Winnipeg needs cap space and I've heard Trouba might want out of Winnipeg. I'm not sure what the market would be. Hagg is no slouch and comes with a good cap hit and is young. Rubtsov is a good player, just got injured. The 1st pick is 11th overall. But I did a rough estimate.

Talbot has had two poor seasons in a row now. I'm not sure I want him on this team regardless of his friendship with Hart.

Not even close for Trouba, P K Subban is more of a realistic target then Trouba. Whom either wants to go home to Detroit or Florida to be near his GF.

Not enough? You guys can't take back much, you're making this trade 50% due to cap issues. What else would you want outside of two young, inexpensive guys, with number 11 overall, for a guy you're 100% losing anyway? I would say either of the players are enough, not both.

I think people forget, that it is well known Trouba does not wanna play in Canada. Couple that with the known fact that WInnipeg is hamstrung with their RFA's, they do not have a lot of leverage here. They can wait for offer sheets to come in, or they can make a trade with someone. Unless someone overpays though, I think what you'll see is a prospect and a 1st/2nd round pick(s).

I think they would want a more established player instead of taking a chance. Try Lindblom maybe. Rubtsov will probably be good but is yet to play a game

I like what I'm reading here. Winnipeg has some tough decisions to make. Hopefully Philly can pry him away.

Looks like my Trouba trade proposal was way better than what Winnipeg actually got from the Rangers.

Winnipeg in my opinion got absolutely fleeced. I can't believe all the trade proposals for Trouba all of us flyers fan put together, that Jets fans were saying were ridiculous and that it would never happen, then in real life they go ahead and get even less of a package than we all proposed. Life is funny sometimes huh?
