I very much dislike that Oshie deal.
I also think the EDM deal is lop-sided towards the Oilers.
I think the Holtby deal sounds right.

yeah Leo 1 for 1 for kuzy would be more fair imo......Leo is a product of mcdavid ......look how well chais looked with him this year

Hmm. Well. I'd rather have Duchene at 2C then Kuzy. Better FO% and comparable playmaker. One of our biggest problems last year was Face Offs. Kuzy obviously has some controversy surrounding him pertaining to work ethic as well. For me the Leon trade is pretty fair. Leon is younger, higher ceiling than Kuzy and gives versitility to play wing or Center. Oh and also is a decent face off guy. Saying Leon is a product of McDavid is unfair. From the few Oilers games I watched last year, Leon centered his own line at evens. And looking at the shear amount of face offs he took, I think that was the norm. I get the dislike for the Fehr pick up. I'd rather have Brian Boyle to be honest. Just threw Fehr in for fun. I agree I'm off a bit for Oshie. However, this was a "sum of the parts" roster, not a "one trade to solve it all" exercise. Those top two lines are crazy sick and the third line would be a possible sleeper in this league. Defense would be about league average or slightly higher. Goalies to me are the question mark. Does Samsonov become what we hope he can?
