Goodbye and so long! I picture WPG getting at least 1 NHL D in return...maybe swap Howden for DeAngelo? I don't think WPG needs to include a 3rd either.

Deangelo's value is much higher than Howden's (and frankly isn't much lower than Trouba's). Highly doubt him, Skjei or Fox get moved in a deal for Trouba unless it was practically a 1for1.

The only RD the Rangers would trade you in such a deal is Neal Pionk.

I am not saying you're necessarily wrong, I have no clue what Winnipeg will get, but I do think the return for Trouba is going to be a lot higher than people are expecting.

Well, I hope so, because two of the most annoying tropes on CapFriendly are that teams in cap trouble will give players away and players on the last year of their contract are diminished in trade value. Look at the price Kevin Hayes brought, and that was at the trade deadline.

Oh, I just looked around and saw that Winnipeg pulled the trigger -- wow, I thought for sure that he was headed to Detroit!

I don't think the Jets got full value for him. For at least one year, you guys got a steal!!
