    Would rather not. I like Laine, but Weber's gotta go if he's coming in.

    A couple reasons, but the main thing is having Laine means you're taking away Weber's best weapon, which is his one-timer. Laine is better at it, but that means Weber's value to MTL is a lot lower. The 2nd reason is it would help with cap space.

    Are you drunk ? Having Weber & Laine are 2 threat on the PP. Last year, Weber was the only threat on the PP. We’re good with the cap, Weise Mason contract expired Alzner ( buyout ) and a trade ( Shaw Byron ) comes to my mind, we gonna have enough cap space to resign Domi Mete Juulsen + the caphit might increase

    Weber and Laine play the same spot on the powerplay. Left wall one timer. Neither of them can QB a powerplay. You know this is true, having Laine and Weber together just doesnt make sense.

    Laine is will be lower than Weber, Weber’s at the point.
