Are you really that worried that Bim wont be able to re-sign him?

      Also:
      Trouba > NYR
      Myers > WPG
Bim trades for Zaitsev and pays assets for it.
You know deep down it'll happen.

That’s too steep of a price imo, he’s a great player but he hasn’t been able to stay healthy, I think you get one of zads or Compher with a pick and a prospect, won’t get 2 young nhl roster players

Asking teams to take 1 step forward and 2 steps back touching their nhl roster like that

Picks #8, Lucic and Benning. For Boeser, Eriksson and Gaudette. If Vancouver keeps Eriksson Edmonton send 2019 2nd Pick (#38) and 2020 1st.

I can't see Vancouver wanting to move Boeser, but if they did I could very well see Minnesota all over Jim Benning's phone call history. If you're looking for that kinda package, I think its doable. Assuming Vancouver is still looking to push their rebuild forward and make a push for a playoff spot next season, maybe something like this:

      Minnesota Wild
      Brock Boeser

      Vancouver Canucks
      Jordan Greenway
Jared Sprugeon (signs extension as part of deal)
2020 3rd round pick (or 2019 if deal is made at draft)

I get that you wanted a top pick in the deal, but getting a bonafide #2 d-man and a 3rd line forward with size and good offensive upside kinda reduces the chance of a higher pick unless Vancouver included something else.

      Thoughts?

I think any Boeser trade starts and ends with Dumba, and I'd keep the top pairing RD over the winger in that scenario.

Realistically, Dumba would be the ask. I just don't see Minnesota parting with him. But if Vancouver wants to make playoffs next season (their owners demand a lot of them), Spurgeon seems like a good second target, especially if Vancouver gets other assets in the deal. If it was Dumba, it's hard to even argue 1 for 1. It's Dumba with the more value. But the thread starter states he was looking for "a top 9 forward, a top 4 d man and a high draft pick" so it fits his demands better than straight up for Dumba.

I don't think any of this is realistic at all. Doubt Vancouver even considers moving Boeser. But value wise he's just a 30 goal scorer. There's multiple ones of those around. Yes he can get better, but his value isn't sky high because of it.

I agree with all of that. One thing with Vancouver is that they are in a rebuild so they can be patient. No need to trade one of the best young goal scorers in the league for a 29 yo top pairing defenseman, they're better off drafting one and sticking to the rebuild.

Dumba is not available, period. I agree Spurgeon doesn’t make sense for the Nucks.
