Description
Thoughts?

Yzerman spoke of resigning Kronwall and Witkowski. Kronwall is a great mentor and could help as a rotational damn to keep himself And others fresh. Witkowski would be in the press box until injuries. I’d rather him be there than a younger prospects.

I tried to make a few trades that would help the wings and some teams that are at the cap. Especially with news of the cap likely being 82M.

Let me know what ya think!

Im not sure vegas would make this trade. 40 point guy for a prospect who hasn't played hockey in over a year.

Probably not. I just tried to examine Vegas’ roster and it looks like Eakin would most likely to be moved as $3M+ with one year left on his deal and Svechnikov being a cheap young player that could be a sneaker. There would likely be other things added in the deal.

so I agree a bit , you can get eakin not sure if svech is what they want. you could probably get him for a pic and vegas is just as happy. Looking at tampa I dont think they want to move a young cheap d to move Callahan but maybe , id do it.

Don't really see the reason Detroit would take this deal. We don't need bottom 6 centers (Nielsen, Helm, Glendening, Ehn). Svech has missed a full year of hockey but at this point I would give him another year. He put up 51 points in his first season in the AHL then hit a sophomore slump in his 2nd year and then got hurt. There is definetly a chance he can return to form. Wings are selling low on him at this point if they make the deal.
