Wings say No Thanks.

Yzerman stated there are 6 players he is not trading, AA is one and the picks and Dillion set the rebuild back, two to three years. Dillion is UFA after this year, whereas AA is RFA.

The offer sheet for Labanc would be a 2nd. Would you take Namestnikov half retained (2m) plus a 4th or 3rd?

First of all, Gambrell is pending RFA. That means if Sharks want to keep his RFA rights, they need to give him a qualifying offer first which needs to be at least $874,125. CapFriendly has a qualifying offer calculator which I suggest you look into. It's a good tool! If Sharks doesn't give a qualifying offer, then Gambrell's status would turn into UFA and then $700,000 salary would be possible with him. But it's basically impossible.

I mean you look at a guy like Gersich who's in a very similar situation and signed for 700K so it's not unknown. It's definitely possible, especially if they make it 1 way
