Kakko is similar to a Laine. So if Kakko pans out, is Marner worth Laine? I think NYR make out really good here. Leafs also get another 3 years of ELC so it kinda seems like a win-win. Would never happen though, but interesting idea

Rather sign Panarin and have Kakko than have just Marner with no one else. 2 better than 1.
