Based on previous draft day trades, it may cost more than that to move up that far. Ottawa/NJ paid a 3rd rounder just to move up from 13th to 12th If i remember correctly. Moving into the top 15 from out of the top 15 is silly expensive to do and in most cases not worth it.

Might not be necessary to move up. Kaliyev is one of the most inconsistently appearing players in mock drafts. I've seen him as high as 10 and as low as 25.

I rather draft Byram and Suzuki or Byram and Lavoie if he drops that far. We need that 2nd round pick. We might be able to get Nolan Foote with it.

Yes or spencer knight with the toronto pick because we don’t know how much more quick has with all the injuries in recent years. I also know we do have peterson and cambell but have a possibility of having a franchise goalie would be nice. It also depends on who’s there at the TORONTO pick

I agree he could be the guy but it seems that knight is the next best young goalie which wouldn’t be that bad to have if other guys are of the board. And just because you showed he can be the guy in a few games he played last year doesn’t mean he can be that a whole year. Feel me?
