Who Goes 20th

Created by: Boggsauce
Team: 2019-20 Winnipeg Jets
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 18, 2019
Published: Jun. 18, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Looking for input. I’m hoping to god they don’t draft a winger, hoping for an eventual 2C or top 4D to replace Trouba/if Pionk doesn’t git
gud.

Are the Jets targeting someone specific or are they just hoping someone falls to them like Vesalainen did
Any rumours/ideas?

Jets draft board will be different than any you see or read about, majority of there first rounders are called reaches, starting with scheifele at 7 and trouba at 10, I believe morrisey was predicted in that range of picks, but majority of the time they go off the board and pick who they want. At 20 they will probably get a top ten on there own board.

I can see them getting Seider or Soderstrom...both are RD...if they are gone by #20, then it will be anyone of those guys...so many are similar...its really up to the team to develop them.

That’s a really good point. Morrissey was actually a huge reach at the time from what I remember. But so was Stanley to some degree and he’s been slow to develop. They seem to know what they’re doing though

I just hope they keep hitting, I thought vaselainen was picked to replace wheeler, so possibly this year would be a pick to replace buffy, if there is such a pick lol. Hopefully they find that 2c or rhd that has some future dominance and not that far away. I guess Stanley might have been Buffy’s kind of replacement. So I’m still guessing along with you.

I think sieder and Suzuki are the best fits. If Seidel is still available at around 15 or 16, I say we move up to take him.
