Don't roast me on the Myers signing. We will need to retain him if we don't trade for another RHD imo.

But most importantly...JUST KEEP EHLERS.

Is this really the time to give Laine his mega deal? Coming off of his worst season by far. Might as well get him on a bridge deal for 2-3 years if you are gonna end up paying him $8mil plus anyways.

This also leaves no room for Josh Morrissey's deal next year. Jets are super screwed if he's gone. Smarter to save the Tyler Meyers money for him imo.

I think myers could get 6X6 on the open market. Considering he likes WPG, I would say you could maybe drop an additional year? But other than that, that's the best we can do. Niku-Myers would be miserable in the D-zone. Swap Beaulieu and Niku.

I do not think Roslovic is ready for Laine and the tougher competition all at once. Keep little as 2C with vesalainen on his LW and Ehlers on the right. While copp can mentor him in a 3C and can cover up for Laine's mistakes. Lowry with Lindholm and Appleton rounds it out.

I also think that bridging Laine is the way to go

Both very fair points. Bridging Laine might actually help both sides considering the Jets cap situation.
