Even with the D pool thinning, I absolutely can't see TB taking that deal.

If the cap indeed is projected lower, freeing up almost 7 million for point is huge. Not sure how else they free up cap while also getting value back

Cernak is cheap, proven, and young. Unless TB is very sure Foote is ready, they'd be incredibly dumb to move him. I'm okay with the Miller/Callahan side of things, but Cernak also moving for just Risto pushes it overboard.

Teams arent just gonna take Callahan out of the goodness of their hearts. You take away cernak, you can move the other guys for nothing

You still dont believe in Nylander I see. His ceiling is much beyond Virtanens. Would rather keep Nylander and see him reach potential than give up on him
