With current rumours about Zaitsev, Marleau off the books, Kadri and picks should be used to build up the D, cause time is now. If 2021 1st round will be the first prospect to be drafted, he will need three years to make it into League, 2022 1st rounder two and so on.
So ditch those 1sts, 2nds and 3rds till Draft 2022, use late picks to fill the holes for Marlies, if some Johnsson or even Zetterberg will derive from them even better.

17th GAA.....22nd SAA....and 25th SCA arent numbers that will bring another parade into town

For those saying Spurgeon is to old....as i mentioned....top 9 offence is 24y old, there will be nothing bad if D brings some maturity and prudence, so 30y old Spurgeon and re-signed Muzzin to bring some working ethnics to those youngsters sitting on millions now and stability when its 4:3 in last 2 minutes of the Game and opponent brings extra attacker in....

So wait, you see the forward group as having Kapanen for the next 5 years, but you also have him getting offersheeted by Carolina and Toronto getting the compensation? Huh?

I thought extension at that kind of overpayment is logical thing, but for your eyes only, i added it in additional details

Also Muzzin is resigned next year 5 x 5M, thats why Dermott is gone, while with emerging of Sandin he just fell on 4th LHD on depth chart, where Sandin and Liljegren are filling 3rd Pair next Season.
