They aren't trading Ellis. They just signed him and if NASH is desperate to move Subban and can't find a good trade, I think the would retain up to a Million

Ellis is available for the right price but it most certainly is not this.

If the Devils target a NSH defenseman it would probably be Subban

Most likely yeah but subban won't get them the return Ellis would if they wanted to think about next year and the future. And the devils could swallow all of PKs contract if it came to it. But I do agree, it's most likely PK, this was just a thought as well
