Him for Alex Nylander straight up, both top 10 picks that need a change of scenery maybe Buffalo throws a late pick in as well, his value isn't that high at the moment

Nothing crazy. Couple mid round picks. Maybe bottom 6 guy and a pick.

Low enough that it'd be a dumb move to make.

If I had to guess though, it'd be something like a 2nd+3rd. Might be able to pry a late 1st out of somebody (very doubtful), or another prospect that needs a change of scenery.

Selling so low on a 21 year old would be pretty nuts though. He's a good hockey player that just needs time to develop, and for the Oilers to stop screwing him around.

Okay I’m actually a Pens fan so would Tristan Jarry and a draft pick be acceptable or would they need to add more?

I don’t hate this idea at all...would be interesting to see.

I like this one too....Puljujarvi could be deadly in Washington if deployed correctly.

Well he said he wants a trade now, so that leaves the Oilers having to make a move

I think it makes sense for both teams and both players. New coaches and fresh starts.

Naw, they don't have to make a move. Should they? Yes. Will they? Probably. Do they have to? No.

Man, Edmonton is just a jerky organization though. Too many old Oilers in the front office that think the game hasn't changed.

since when do players who have never done a thing get to demand trades?
Not to mention the fact that if you granted him one McDavid would be like "oh look at that I'm next in line"
His value is not that high at the moment. At best they can try to get another prospect with a name that hasn't done anything yet. Or if they are lucky to move him at deadline for a rental like Boston did with Donato. But I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Best way to do it is risk in another failing high end prospect like Alex Nylander

Because he's not being utilised in Edmonton and feels like he has a better chance at becoming a good player elsewhere.

Calle Jarnkrok from Nashville. Can play center or wing. Kills penalties. Has some offensive pop. Cheap contract with term left.

that does not matter. Teams don't bend to players like that. If they break for a no one did nothing, the vets would run wild on them.

Isn't very humane to just waste a player because you don't want to trade him.

Also there are reports that say he will stay in Europe if not traded...

you are talking about a league that allows head hunting in the playoffs because it creates "drama"

I'm taking about the league that doesn't have control over what players do. Suspensions obviously don't work most of the time.
