You forgot Tolvanen in the trade with the rangers.. because that's the only way you'll be able to cap dump bonino and get kreider with retained AND an extension

I don't think Kreider will actually cost too much, but I agree that this deal would be unlikely to happen. I think a prospect (not Tolvanen or Fabbro) +1st +another pick would likely get it done.

He'll cost a 1st rounder + b prospect (similar to Hayes trade last year)

If you want to throw a cap dump and have the rangers retain, the price goes up. Especially since Bonino's deal doesn't expire this year. It's only 4m, but it's still 4m they'd rather allocate to a better player

I like the Canucks deal just don't like Tanev, Nashville can get a great prospect at 10th overall and add a player like Juoveli and its a deal
