funny thing about bad players who "ASK" for trades (ahem, demand) they usually bring less of a return than their team wants...so I wouldn't even trade a 2nd rounder OR Burky for JP at this point. Let alone add a prospect goalie. I would have EDM give up JP + a middle pick for Burky now.

I would be fine trading their rights straight up, solely because of the QO issue. Burky costs 3x just to qualify and keep from going to free agency, and he probably is not (but possibly is) worth that cost, which depresses his value. PoolParty's performance to date isn't much to speak of, but at least he's dirt cheap. Knowing GMBM, though, he could and should finagle a 4th round pick back with JP's rights for Burky's rights.
