Rumours said that EDM would move Poolparty for a 3rd liner

I really like Paul Byron but he has been injured a lot this year. He's still a very good depth forward, good on PK.

Shayne Gostisbehere would be the perfect fit for Shea Weber and he would be a great QB for our mediocre pp.

The ghost trade is brutal for Philly like I keep saying. However, Byron Trade makes sense for both teams. Edmonton get their “third line winger” whose speedy and can play with Mcdavid, and Montreal buys low on a guy with a high ceiling

You’re getting a former 4th overall pick whose only 21... Byron is 30. no way Edmonton needs to send a 2nd back. That’s a very fair trade. Pulv could be a diamond in the rough for you guys.

I think the Puljujärvi deal is close to fair and probably what it would take to get him, although whoever does get him will have to pay him more than $700,000. Count me in as a person that thinks Ghost is for sale, but the Canadiens will probably have to trade the 15th overall pick, Shaw, and Juulsan for him. If they do not, he'll go to someone that is willing to meet that price.
