I mean, when you say highly, did you expect these two types of players to only get 4 mil a year? thats wildly unrealistic.

Also, an even worse argument, taking contracts of players that were signed years in the past and comparing them with contracts that are being signed in the present. Cap has consistently gone up, and because such contracts have steadily gone up. Stamkos in 2016 was in the last year of a 7.5 million AAV contract, Hayes now makes 7.14 million AAV, see what I mean?
