As a Pens fan, I pass on that deal. Ehlers is really good, but we already have high end deals and we need some youth...so losing another 1st rd pick and McCann doesn't fit in. Schultz and Rust maybe with a different pick...but pass on the proposed deal.

I can't see pit moving McCann and a 1st in that deal. Team loves him.

Just guessing, because Rust is a right hand shot... The Jets already have Scheifele, Wheeler, Laine, Roslovic, Appleton, Little... all right handed forwards. They have a shortage of lefties as it is. Trading Ehlers makes it worse. I know that might not seem like a big deal, but at the speed of the NHL today, it is.

This is just not a fit. Both Pittsburgh and Winnipeg are stacked on the wings, and could some better LD.

I agree. Carolina makes the most sense, by far.... but I did them yesterday, so I thought I'd try something different.
