Why are the leafs taking on Kreider when he has a higher AAV and Kadri is a better player? Makes no sense

Desperately need some skilled LW, he's also a big body and would do really well on that line. Brings a heavy, controlled style while still contributing on the scoresheet. A leader in the locker room. I like his game all around. Assuming he re-signs..

I think it's time to move on from Kadri.

I think you're right. I only used one 1st rd pick. Could definitely get some better players by using more picks.
