Hmm I truthfully think Gostisbehere and Drouin are close to even, even probably Ghost a smudge higher.

That being said, I think the Flyers would rather prospects and draft picks due to their strong forward group.

That a bad trade idea tho

Considering the Flyers have the #2 prospect pool in the league I don’t see them moving Ghost on the contract he is for prospects and picks. Especially when the Flyers haven’t moved any prospects, which many believed would happen for a RHD, but they got Braun and Niskanen instead of paying for a Trouba or Spurgeon. Drouin or Tatar most likely get it done. Fill the last hole of a top 9 winger they are looking for. Both have reasonable cap hits as well. Otherwise don’t see Ghost being moved.

Issue with that is can you see either player thriving in a third line role? It just wouldnt work for the player. I know theyre deep for prospects I just think it be smarter to ask for someone like Joel and a low 1st and a depth pick. But thats just me, I truthfully wouldnt even trade Ghost if I was the Flyers.

Its been reported by Bob and by Flyers media guys that the Flyers are looking for a second line left wing in return for Ghost. The conditions were just put in place in case Drouin exceeds expectations. Realistically, Ghost gets 40 points in our lineup without much effort. So the two 2nd round picks offset

Wouldn’t have one of them playing 3rd line. Most likely would put a Drouin on Line one with Giroux and Coots. Slide Konecny down to line 3 to play with his good pals where they will get much easier match ups. But I agree I don’t really want to see Ghost go. Seeing what Edler just got paid and god knows what Tyler Myers will get paid it’s nice having him.

They dont want Konceny on the 3rd line. He is a huge factor for the Flyers this year and Want him play on the top line which means Jacob drops down to play with Hayes and JVR
