Cool. Flyers have made a lot of moves lately and can stand to fall back whereas Arizona wanted Soderstrom. Fair deal.

Seems fair so far, but we have no idea how either will turn out. Come back to this in 5 years.

PHI just ruined Montréal plans by trading back but still picking up Cam York. MTL should have made that trade instead of Arizona

I feel like Philadelphia got the player player with 14 than Arizona did with 11. Philly wins IMO

No wonder Dubas hasn't signed Marner yet, he is too busy teaching the new Phi GM how to over pay average star free agent players (Nylander V. Hayes) and trade picks for older Dman (Muzzin for 1st V. Braun for 2nd and 3rd) and trade the higher 1st Round pick to acquire a late 1st and a 2nd Rounder (2015 and 2018 Leafs Draft Day V. this year's Flyers).

Literally no one voted Arizona as the winner. Hilarious. Good deal for Philly (assuming York was their guy). And I can’t believe the Coyotes felt a risk of the Wild or Panthers picking Soderstrom.

Pretty fair trade, be interesting to see who the second turns out to be, if Philly took Cole Caufield they'd have already won this trade shocked they didn't pick him, but as a pens fan I'm relieved. Arthur Kaliyev seems to have slipped down the draft too imagine if Philly gets him with the second that would be a massive win.

Don't get this Arizona Soderstrom is not worth moving up. Could of had Harley or York or even Heinola all are better imo

Cole is a real boom or bust pick while York is practically guaranteed barring injury to make the NHL

I would have thought Soderstrom would likely still be available at #14, especially with the other guys available.

Exactly. So many Habs fans are gonna overrate Caufield on this site now. So annoying. It was a great pick no doubt, but he’s certainly a risky prospect.

He could’ve looked great next to Mcdavid

The smallest and lighthiest team in the NHL drafted with their first round pick.... A 5'7'' 163 lbs winger.

should have just drafted someone else and saved the pick

looks like they'll be some steals in the second round

Yotes had him ranked 3th so they are really high on him. Guess it makes sense for them to trade up to get their offensive RHD. Philly still got a good prospect and there are some potential steals in the 2nd round so they win the trade though

That's completely fine. We got a guaranteed top 10 pick with #15. We got a better goal scorer than Auston Matthews smile

I like the Flyers here this was a pretty weak draft crop or nobody could agree on ranking looking a reaches Kings did or others...
