I find it hard to assess his value, and Bracco's value. What do you think his value is?

Zaitsev is a cap dump. I doubt you get anything back for him. Any team would rather just trade for Miller, just like you did. Because honestly a few 100k difference is nothing.

With Hyman and Dermott starting the season on the injured list, and Hyman out perhaps until Christmas, this team is even worse than it looks. My nightmare scenario: the defense collapses, the Maple Leafs finish in 11th place so that the pick doesn't kick over to 2021, and Carolina wins the third-place lottery with our first-round pick. Who said that the Marleau trade solved all of our problems? Surely Dubas could have found a better deal than the one he struck with the Hurricanes.
