McNabb is their cheaper/cost effective D who can play top minutes, doesn't make sense for vegas to trade him.
After the leafs trade everyone wants a 1st to take on useful players loll

I agree that McNabb's contract give him a high value : he plays top minutes for 2.5 AAV / 3 years. For a 1st, it would be Merrill or Holden. For McNabb, it would be a late pick but VGK wouldn't do it. But I sure do like the idea

The 1st is for taking the Clarkson contract not McNabb. i just didn't see how else they would trade to shed some more salary...with Merrill they wouldn't same much since the guys replacing him would cost around 800k. And now with the Karlsson extension i really don't know what they do lol they are now 7.5m over the cap so i could see them unloading Stastny's 6.5m,
