awsome, start an 18 year old rookie in the NHL on his offside.
What could possibly go wrong?

Kronner was arguably our best D man last year, I think he’ll come back for one more year. If so, I think Daley gets traded preseason to make room. With his injury history, I don’t think Green has much trade value anymore, but I can see him gone at the deadline for a 2nd/3rd/prospect if he has a bounce back year. Howard and Ericsson aren’t going to fetch anything though. I think Ericsson will spend most the year as a healthy scratch and Howey wants to retire a Wing, they would have traded him last year if the price was right but nobody was willing to offer that high.

I think Kronner plays 1 more year, hits his 47 games in early Feb, and then starts to pull it back some. Would be a good mentor to Kaski, Cholo, Hronek.

Yea but in all honesty trouba or myers at the salary they'd require...would be a waste ..we need to pay our kids mantha AA bert etc when we're ready to win again consistently..i think Larkin ($6.1) or $7m per is teams internal cap now..barring a superstar comes here...& thats smart teams paying 10m for a player dont win cups..u win when the stars are cheaper contracts so it's a balanced roster with depth ..unless new USA tv deal skyrockets the cap...id bet no team will win paying 2 or more guys that much $ cap avv its a different game now

yeah I know but the blue line has been void of talent for years and adding trouba or myers who are top pair guys would just make me sleep better. Besides paying myers 6.5 over 6 years isn't really going to prevent us from paying the forwards. Myers is a great combination of size and skill a real poor mans hedman or petrangelo and someone who can anchor the blue line as the kids grow. Hes the guy we all thought dekeyser could be.

oh im not holding my breath that steve does anything on july 1st. Id guess he sits back a bit and tries to take advantage of some poor team who needs cap space or some ufa that lingers a few days and worries about having a job.
