Clarkson can be buried on LTIR, while Marleau will have to be bought out, at full hit for one year (no spread since he’s a 35+ signing). The only reason why Vegas trades Clarkson is to ensure bonuses can be paid this coming season, and not 2020.

I think moving Clarkson is Vegas’ last resort move (especially since it doesn’t give them any cap space). I think you’ll see Miller and some else moved (or at least attempted to move) first.

I want one of those defenseman on their roster for taking Clarkson, miller or mcnabb not holden but something we can use. ill take picks but id rather get players, add reeves to that deal if you have to. I think vegas can clear the cap they need if they aren't too picky about the return
