Better get to work moving some cap then. You can only go over the cap by 10% which Karlsson is going to put you right to the edge of.

Not even slightly worried about it. We can exercise Clarkson on LTIR and our upper limit would increase to 95 million, plenty to match this offer

The upper limit during the Summer is 110% of the cap and includes any LTIR. LTIR is not an extra added bonus on top of the 10% you can over, but rather included in any calculations. Regardless, I'm sure the Knights will have no problem moving a minor contract in the next week to fit Gusev under the 89 million teams are allowed to get to. The real problem will be what contracts you have to move between now and the fall.
