I'm a Leafs fan and that Nylander trade makes no sense for the Devils.

Severson becomes your top RD and the Devils have to add a forward plus a 1st and 2nd.

Nylander might get you a top RD, but it is more 1 for 1 with one side adding a pick depending on the RD

As an NJ fan, I would do that trade for Marner, not Nylander

Easy no from the Oilers re: Benning (IMO). What are the conditions of the pick you suggest?

Nylander has been overrated from the getgo this year was basically showing his true colors. Marner is also inflated stats by Tavares, so don't let that fly over your eyes. I would personally look at a different team if you were going for it.

Can't agree there, Nylander has been great. Caveman fans get mad at him but his advanced stats are through the roof and he played 3rd line all season

Guess just unlucky then. Maybe another guy with a Jaden Schwartz year.

just looked at the stats, last year he was just 5.4% shooting, where as prior to that he was 11%; and also played just 15:30 / game on the 2nd PP unit

was thinking for NJ here is your T. Hall replacement; Palmeiri is a better #2RW, they just nabbeed PK, Nylander with the young C's would be fun to watch........... perhaps the picks went too far though

I think it's we are going to be looking into something where either they just get a Large Haul for Hall and get a rebuilding going or try to re-sign him.

Interesting. I'd probably offer a 4th that becomes a 3rd if 20 goals (lower threshold).
