Would this work? Probably not, but just a thought. Leafs wanted a RHD in Subban, but only for 6 million. Maybe they’d agree to this? Word is Brown is being shopped and did Petan ever really fit in Toronto?

I can't think of any reason why TOR would decline that. Extremely beneficial deal for them.

I would rather keep Johnsson. Trading him on a rental will not help is in the long run. Did the other side of this and it works fine. Personally I would drop all of the extras coming back. Jarry and Shultz for the package from Toronto. Now whyvwould the pens do that? Your guess is as good as mine lol.
