    If he gets offer sheeted, you know Carolina has the right to match the offer sheet right? Theirs a 0% chance they wouldnt match it, unless its a ridiculous troll contract

    If Carolina is only only going to offer him $6/year a team can swoop in and offer him $9x5 years and only give up 2 firsts a second and a third. Aho loves that deal since it's only buying out one RFA year (similar to the Mathews contract).

    But they never would be. Their new owner has said hes willing to spend on their roster. They didnt dump Skinner because he was an upcoming UFA.

    It is so ridiculous it’s hard to believe but true. Leafs offer marner 10m x 8 and canes offer Aho 6m x 8... something is not right here.
