Agree, trading Price now would get you a nice return - probably more than a 6th oa and a 2nd if Schneider is worth a 9th oa. On the flip side, trading Price for futures would instill a setback and push the cup window further out by 3-4 years, IF the prospects pan out. By that time, Patches and Subban would be 30-31 and slipping out of their prime, so you'd better trade them now too.
