Balanced roster (although I don't know either of your 2nd pair D) but I think it is still missing that big name player that puts up consistent 70+ point seasons. And I don't think Domi is that player. The forward group reminds me of the Preds a lot - good, balanced lines, but missing that star player. Maybe Caulfield will be that player - we'll see!

Not enough quality going back to philly in the deal. I'm guessing they want a 1st and prospect.

Josh Brook put up 75 points in 59 games in the WHL last year. MTL have big hopes for him

Juulsen = quality B+ prospect. Evans B prospect. Shaw Byron sure value

Caulfield has already said he's going to Wisconsin for the year, so we won't see him in a Habs jersey this year unless he pulls a Poehling and sings after they are eliminated from the season. Otherwise I do like that lineup, though I might want to keep Juulsen in there.

Yeah I agree Juulsen has some value, Evans I think is a career AHL guy at best and yes Shaw and Byron have some value but are a bit to pricy and have too much term for philly to take on. They need to sign a few of their big RFA's. If I am Philly I want high picks and high prospects for a guy like Ghost. Doesn't make sense to move an affordable offensive d for that price.

Philly have enough prospect in Frost Ratfcliffe Farabee. They need roster player to win now. Byron brings you 20 goals, Shaw can bring what Simmonds brought. Leadership, competitive AF, I dont expect him to get another dream season like last year, but if he do not get injured, he can get 40-50 points. Juulsen is more NHL ready than Myers, so Myers can play another year in the AHL.

Don't know why you weaken the team by trading Petry for futures. Habs have cap, keep him for a playoff runs. Is Ghost really worth all that?
