Unlikely destination for krug

Created by: Js31

Description
I am aware of the obstacles to this trade including Krug's ntc, Vancouver wanting an extension for him, etc, but on paper would it be a good idea? Would a deal need to have Heinen instead of Cehlarik?

Also - I believe charas minutes will be greatly reduced next season as we saw shades of decline in both ice time and performance this past year, and I believe Lauko is a sneaky candidate to make the team out of camp, a better chance than studnicka. He had a good showing in camp last year and had a great season in juniors. His placement on Krejci's line isn't to say that he will be that good, I just think DeBrusk is a better fit with Coyle.

0% chance because Krug doesn’t waive for them and Vancouver doesn’t trade their 2nd best forward for a LHD when they have Hughes and Juolevi

Not a matter of Krug waiving, he can only submit a list of 8 teams he cannot be traded to. Not sure if it is same 8 for the duration of the contract or resets every year.

sign and trades don't happen. the last one was setoguchi. what was that? like 10 years ago?

It's a poorly thought out idea.

As I said I am aware of the obstacles to this deal. Otherwise I wouldn't have chosen the name "Unlikely destination"

it is an unlikely destination. I'm not really harping on that.

You should have named it, "impossible return."

Boeser for Krug isn't a possibility.

First off sign and trades rarely happen, And secondly zero chance of Krug signing long term with Vancouver.

Wasn't aware the full list was available. Besides Vancouver and Edmonton who else is on it?
