Description

The bruins have to pay Heinen Carlo mcavoy and I guess accari (I’d let him walk) they also just signed kampfer 2 years 800k a year signing the rest of those guys should be around 16mil they only have 12 to work with. Someone has to go no one is taking backes contract unless you give up 2 first. Trade Krejci for a first round pick to a middle road team that could be worse than they think and run with what you have left we are kinda ****ed. Yes taken from felger

Bruins are hardly screwed if you afford to sign a UFA for 5m.

I like Johansson a lot but picking him over Krejci is insane. With Miller/Moore LTIR they'll be fine, issue is that TB/TOR will be better and not sure just bringing back the same team (with Cehlarik/Bjork at 3L) is enough.

I agree and didn’t say coyle but I’d rather deal with that down the line then have mcavoy sit out because we can’t afford him. Can flip a pick for a center at the deadline or something. It’s tricky and messy and I’m just bringing a conversation to the light I wouldn’t trade Krejci. But they are in a pickle

But Johanssen if a UFA, he isn't a Bruin to lose. I do see your point but real cap hell is when a team cannot sign UFAs and have to rid themselves of their roster playes....like the Leafs did with Marleau, the Jets did with Trouba and what Tampa did with Miller. Even San Jose has had to trade Braun and maybe more because they made a choice to sign a UFA in Karlsson. But they created their own situation by wanting to pay a player who wasn't really theirs to11.5m.

It's like when a guy complains that he is having making car payments on his top end Mercedes. Quit complaining and get a Honda Accord like most of us do.
