The commonly accepted wisdom is that Miller is worth a second and a prospect. Even if that's wildly under market, two firsts is simply in another universe.

Yeah I don't understand the absurd overvalue of Miller by Vegas fans. He is decent but he is NOT worth even one First. I'd give a mid-level prospect and a fifth round pick for him...he's a dime a dozen if you ask me.

I agree that something more needs to move Vancouver's way. I just couldn't decide what.

But Vancouver wanted to trade up to 3 to get Byram. So I'm thinking Vegas gives them a good D prospect and Miller who helps them now. They took Poskolzin because he was best available. I dont think they can wait two years for his KHL contract to run out. Vegas has the depth and long term contracts to be patient and wait for him.
