Could happen? maybe move Kadri for a cheaper 3C??? what do you think? (Obviously not super realistic, but possible??? Also what do you think about the return for Marner? Its a lot, maybe a guy like Sandin would have to be included?

The reason they want to Move Barrie is because they want Makar to replace him. Makar is untouchable.

Yeah Makar is not available and especially not for that return.

Panarin also won't sign for Toronto.

Yea, you might be able to do something around Kadri for Barrie. But agree, Makar is untouchable as they see him as a top pairing RD

If I'm Colorado, I'm not trading a future Norris caliber Dman for a winger I'm going have to overpay

It's not the savings. It's getting a #1 rhd for 19-20 and a #1 rhd for a decade and Panarin for Marner and a #3 rhd. And the added cost of 2 mil for 19-20 and a 3 mil savings for 20-21...
