With d-men with worse stats than Del Zotto signing fr 1.5M$ and above, I can't see him signing for anything less than 2M$ TBH.

We can take Clarkson, Haula, Reaves, Holden off your hands. Your choice to give up a 1st or one of Miller/Gusev with that. We can even give u Harpur and super cheap depth players

Cheaper dman, cheaper 4th or 3rd line guy and a pick depending how good those players are.

Maybe:

New Jersey Devils
Stefan Noesen - Not to shabby but not great.
Mirco Mueller - Decent 3rd line dman for us.
1st rd pick - Evens out value.

No way they're trading a 1st Round Pick for that return. Noesen also wasn't tendered by the Devils so he's all yours.

While I personally like Reaves' fit, the only person that's going to be on the Devils after year 1 is McNabb – the Reaves and Clarkson are cap dumps. McNabb is not worth a 1st round pick, and the other 2 bring down his value.

Most I would offer would be something like

New Jersey Devils
Mirco Mueller
Mikey McLeod
2021 4th
