Everything favors the Leafs a bit except MN. Benning for Brown? Hawks don't need Sparks.

Don’t listen to Chihawkk, he’s lost. The values are close excellent tvfor thecwildvtrade. That is horrible for the leafs. but the real question is why? This team looks rough.

Thanks for your comments. tried to address other teams positional or Cap needs. Was reading a pundits report that was basically saying that Crawford and Delia might need a third wheel, which is why I sent him there. Most Leaf fans would send him to the moon, one way.

@jamiepo...Leafs need some size and grit, and veteran leadership with Marleau and Hainsey gone. I just thought this was a great opportunity for Spezza and Simmonds to bring it home at the tail end of their careers. I think Stralman still has it it and was a Leaf Draft pick, and has yet to get the Cup. I think Benning could benefit from Muzzins experience, and Dermott / Rosen could get the same from Pateryn, not to mention his physical play. Bottom line is they need that added size and grit to get through the next rounds.

You trade away Kadri and talk about adding grit. There are tons of gritty players that can play hockey. The wild trade is bad for the leafs.
