Brown will get at least a 3rd, hopefully a 2nd (look at Andrew Shaw)

Zaitzev will have to bring back another RHD since the leafs have literally none without him. It will be a unique trade since the team will have to think Zaitzev is an upgrade while the leafs also think they are upgrading. Ive seen Z for Honka floated around here alot. I know u signed a bunch of UFAs but its not that easy in real life (also, Zaitzev is better than all of those RHD)

If my team gave up a 2nd for Brown I'd walk to their facilities and punch the GM in the face.
Zaitsev should be dumped for a pick and go in free agency and sign a 1-2yr deal.

All these fans ripping on Gardiner are really going to miss him after watching how bad the D is going to be this year.

Yeah management sucks here. Kadri at 4 million is trash. Reilly at 5 is garbage. Picking up Andersen and signing him to 5.5 was a terrible trade. Drafting Kadri, Rielly, Nylander, Marner, Dermott, Matthews. All terrible decisions. Landing a 45 goal scoring center in free agency in his career prime, Terrible move. Drafting guys like Brown and Johnson in the 7th round, what a joke. Trading a 3rd round pick for Hyman, AWFUL. Trading away past regimes awesome contracts like Clarckson and Phaneuf, why the hell would you do that!? Yeah Leafs Management is horrendous, I agree.

Fair but Shaw can play centre + cup winner. A 2nd is too hopeful.
