One point of contention, in no universe, do the Flyers see Proverov as 'expendable'. They have a lot of dmen but Prov is definitely there for the long haul. It's more likely they move someone like Hagg or Morin instead of Proverov.

Chuck Fletcher overpayed Hayes but is getting cheap with Provorov. He's not the brightest GM out there. Who knows maybe they don't get along and are ok to move along

As much as I would want the devils to offersheet someone, this probably won't happen only because Provorov is asking for $8million and the Flyers are reportedly only wanting to give him $7 mil. Also, if Ray really wants to offersheet someone, he's gonna have to find a way to convince Nashville to get that 2nd round pick back that he traded for Subban. and that pick wont come cheap

Not that offersheets ever happen but one that would make sense is an 8.45m x 5 yrs by Montreal. Possibly less money if they think flyers would not match. Would only be a 1st 2nd and 3rd. Habs get the lhd they need.
