Domi-Danault-Gallagher
Tatar-Kotkanemi-Drouin
Byron-Poehling-Shaw
Lehkonen-Thompson-Armia
Weal

Byron-Poehling-Shaw will be a hard hitting line that plays along the boards and infront of the net creating momentium.
Lehkonen-Thompson-Armia play a shutdown role taking bulk defensive faceoffs allowing 3rd line more time in the OZ

Thompson and Armia are big enough and physical enough to offer grit on the 4th line while Lehkonen brings speed and skill but can be rotated out for Weal or Deslauriers depending on the need for that nights match ups . (for example playing bruisers on the west coast Deslauriers makes more sense )

I like the proposed lineup a lot but the danger is that we are praying that all the players perform career seasons again, which may not happen. We clearly need a top LHD before anything, but another scoring forward would really help. How to fit them in? Depends on what it takes to acquire a LHD

I think Florida is trying to clear cap so there's not much incentive for them to take on Alzner, even if They give us Reimer. Don't think the 2nd pick is good enough to take on that difference in contract

not at all , i just am more familiar with our depth as i watch KHL regularly so i know how important Romanov is going to be in 2020-21 when his contracts done with KHL Gagarin cup Champs i also know Brook plays LD regularly and actually is a much more moble defensman from this side which is why MTL experimented during day 1 second scrimage with Brook playing LD .

i've also familarized myself with Struble who was top 3 in 7/10 challenges and the Draft Collumbine and the most dominant athlete there since Darnell Nurse according to Dreger .

so yes maybe this year we need a 2nd LD to play inbetween Mete and Kulak but honestly i wouldnt waste the cap .
unless we could get a Gustafsson who CHI has seemingly chosen to replace rather then compete during next summers UFA frenzy around him .

Then that would make sense but only if we could make it work for a Danault , Mete and a 2nd with Gustafsson agreeing to a 6-6.5m dollar 7 year deal then immediately sign Duchene .

this would be the only Scenario that works because you're upgrading pieces rather then trying to jam more in place without considering the depth we have knocking at the door. Our sportsnet top 10 was so deep that ikonen,Evans the Teasdale made the list when in years past those 3 would have been top players bar none .

Well, sir, you sold me, haha. Thank you for all these facts. Do you have a link from the Dreger comments on Struble?

nope just Draft day listening to them talk , sorry
given the prospect rankings and how high everyone was on Struble i just took him at his word

sounds beliveble to me , dude's a multi sport athlete and played in the Little League World Series which Stadium holds a couple NHL arena's worth of fans . Only knock against him is he grew up a Boston Sports Fan according to his first post draft interview at habstv on their website
