Yikes...I suppose you could always pray for Loui to develop some sort of "Degenerative back disorder"...

They could buy him out but the first 2 years he is making basically the same as he is on the roster. After the 2 years it isn't that bad so i guess all depends on what the owners think.

For sure.

On a serious note-I think I'd stay away from Gards and save yourself the $6 mil/year. He's a very good dman, but you have Edler and Hughes on the left side already, and, while I wouldn't rely on Hughes to eat massive minutes for 82 games, you could fill that hole with a cheaper veteran on a 1-2 year deal to ease him in.

I do like the idea of you guys offer-sheeting someone like Connor though, mainly because it's not Marner or Aho.

Yeah you are probably right especailly with Tryamkin in the mix for close to the end of the season who I would love to see in the mix on the left side. Wouldn't mind just having Sautner fill in in the mean time.

Yeah, the Nucks have a surprisingly good thing going. Gardiner would just complicate that unfortunately. Again-Excellent player, but now that you've got Edler there for a couple more seasons, you don't have the same need for him.
