If you could get Lee for that, he'd stay in New York. He wants 7 years (8 from NYI). Personally, I think that what you have here is an excellent deal for Lee. A good comparable for him is JVR in Philly, who has that same contract and is of a similar age. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he's interested in it though.

Isn't the expansion draft next summer? Regardless, they can definitely trade a couple players. I think the Hawks are looking to see which of the young guys break out; Perlini, Sikura, Kubalik, Wedin, Kampf, etc.
