Take him, paying a playmaking winger that much money will end up ****ing you so badly in the future on so many angles. Good luck

Really interesting what you came out with, but i guess too crazy too happen . As stated, 14 M $/year for marner is too high. 12$ would do it. Second, Instead of Duchene, why not get a scoring winger (sniper) with size, (Stone, Kessel type) . Or Anders Lee for 7 M$. Your line up is too small for playoffs. One option: keep Petry and Sign Anders Lee. Petry is very solid...most nights!

Yh i know it’s never gonna happen but I’m trying to show that is not so bad for the habs to do an offer sheet we can still get 1st round picks when we trade people like danault shaw Byron Tatar Petry
I agree with you Petry can be really useful for the Habs but i was trying to fit in the cap space and believing too much on Young Defenders to save the day.I know everybody likes Andres Lee with the habs but i am one of the few that don’t want him in MTL ( just not a big fan of him don’t know why maybe because of Pacioretty)

Well I don't like Lee neither, Don't know him that well but i don't think he has the one-timer we need. Looks like he's only scoring from the front of the net, screening the goaltender. But who else is available. Offer sheet Laine ?

It can be anyone Laine Conor Meier but we will have to overpay. Salary Cap increases every year in every sport. MTL can get 1st round picks in anyways possible if you get creative. Dubas as of right know is doing a good job managing contract and trades. I think it’s their job to live in that stress of work if not why are they working?
