He got 4,3M on arbitration last year and just matched his high points season...why would he sign minimum ?

calling fake news on this. If Ottawa wanted to dump ceci the would not sign him. They don't need to take on a bad contract to do that. There has to be more of a sweetener here

Good point, maybe they give him 2 years at 2.4 or something as a show me and if you succeed we'll give you a longer term.
